METCALFEMOTORCYCLES
About
My name is Ross Metcalfe and I am a longtime vintage motorcycle enthusiast. I have owned my 1913 Indian for over 30 years and love the early 'teen bikes'. My other passion is flathead motorcycles.

My regular ride for many years, and I still own, is my 1936 VL Harley-Davidson with sidecar. Both my boys, now adults (both own Harleys), grew up riding in that old flathead. Currently I am building a 1913 Indian Twin racer and acquiring parts for a 1915 Indian racer.

In 1977 my friend Siggi Klann and I started the Antique Motorcycle Club of Manitoba and a few years later we organized the Buffalo Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (the first chapter outside of the United States). We held a successful AMCA road run in 1991 called "The Great Canadian Buffalo Hunt".

Antique motorcycles for me is a hobby, not a business, and the greatest thrill for me is riding down the road on vintage iron on a cool Canadian road.
